The Traffic Quality Manager reports to the Quality Director and is responsible for the following activities:

Role and Responsibilities

·       Implement and create Traffic Quality Management Plan (TQMP) and Quality Systems Procedures (QSP’s)

·       Develop and manage respective QMPs day today.

·       Liaise with respective disciplines to coordinate quality activities

·       Conduct field Quality Assurance inspections and complete Site Condition Rating Checklists

·       Report on TQMS performance to the Construction Quality Manger

·       Report issues to the Traffic Manager and the Construction Quality Manager and issue NCRs for non-conforming work or processes

·       Takes action to immediately stop any work or activity, related to the TQMP, which is not being performed or carried out in accordance with PA or applicable regulatory requirements.

·       Preparing Traffic Management Audit Plans and checklists which will be integrated with the overall Quality Audit Program and scheduling and coordinating Internal Quality Audits and External Quality Audits of key processes identified in the TQMP

·       Report on TQMS performance and effectiveness of training to the Construction Quality Manger

·       Monitor that quality assurance processes are carried out during Traffic design activities

·       Review subcontractor Traffic Management Plans for consistency with ISO TQMP and Project requirements.

·       Take action to ensure the continual improvement of the TQMP and QSP’s

·       Ensuring that relevant records are maintained and retained in accordance with the TQMP

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·       A University degree in a relevant discipline (Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Planning), or the equivalent

·       10 years’ experience in Traffic Management and/ or planning for roads and transit

·       Proven experience managing and coordinating Quality Management Systems

·       Successfully completed an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor course

·       Proven experience on infrastructure projects.

·       Sound judgment, excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities, with exceptional attention to detail

·       Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills to deal with complex, multi-disciplinary issues involving Third Party agencies, governments, and other stakeholders

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple and changing priorities; and

·       Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

·       Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills to deal with complex, multi-disciplinary issues involving Third Party agencies, governments, and other stakeholders

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple and changing priorities; and

Physical Demands

·       Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.

·       Ability to use stairs, and ladders and climb over rough terrain.

·       Primary work location is site office or project site.

· Project-related travel anticipated.

·       Exposure to construction worksite environment in all seasons
