About the Job
We are hiring a Junior Safety and Security Coordinator to join our Health & Safety team on the Mobilinx Project. This position reports to the Chief Safety and Security Officer.
What You Will Be Doing?
- Performs duties related to Safety and Security of the project design.
- Coordinate with Mobilinx partners.
- Attend and gather records of meetings, decisions, and data.
- Assistance with management of Data for the DOORS databases and general administration duties related to coordination with technical groups.
- Update and review of hazard and security logs.
- Review of records and evidence or gather records from other disciplines.
- Assist in the production of reports and document.
- Tracking and documenting project schedule activity, start, finish, % complete and major milestones for the Safety and Security deliverables.
- Tracking and collection of documentation for extra work and engineering submittals.
- Promote safety and security within disciplines and assist in the proliferation of good practices.
- Builds and maintains relationships with clients.
- Assists Project Managers and work package leads.
What We Are Looking For? (Qualifications from our JD’s)
- Or BEng. Electrical /Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics or related program.
- Engineering Intern (EIT) or working to licensure.
- 1-3 years of experience in a related technical role.
- Previous work experience (on-site experience) in construction related fields or similar enterprises.
- Strong computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, AutoCAD).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong Organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as disciplined to work independently.
- Excellent grasp of the English language is essential (Read/write/speak).
