About the Job

We are hiring a Senior Surveyor to join our Survey team on the Mobilinx Project. This position reports to the Survey Manager.

What You Will Be Doing?

  • Review and formatting of various field data and distribution in a timely manner
  • Review and ensure overall quality assurance and quality control of survey plans, drawings, and maps
  • Maintain current survey standards and knowledge of legislation and codes and familiarity with current survey and checking techniques
  • Review and extract information from construction documents
  • Support project managers with various survey and project reports
  • Maintain meeting minutes and logs for projects on daily/weekly basis
  • Review and prepare deliverables for projects as required
  • Coordinate field work with field staff
  • Liaison between field staff and survey manager and project manager

What We Are Looking For?

  • Minimum 8 years survey experience in the construction field
  • Post-secondary education in an accredited Geomatics program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of Leica survey instruments
  • Knowledge of engineering & survey principles, practices and procedures including digital terrain modelling
  • Commitment to outstanding service quality
  • Good initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, communication skills, and a commitment to promoting strong communication
  • Willingness to contribute actively in a team environment
  • Proficient in the English language (Written, reading and speaking)
